Cinnamon Crescent Twists
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 14 minutes
Serves: 4
Twists
-
8 oz pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
-
¼ cup packed brown sugar
-
2 tbsp butter, softened
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Glaze
-
¼ cup confectioners' sugar
-
1 tbsp butter, melted
-
1 to 1½ tsp hot water
Instructions
-
Separate crescent roll dough into four rectangles and press the seams to seal
-
Mix together the brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Spread evenly over two of the rectangles
-
Top with the remaining two rectangles to create a sandwich
-
Starting from the long side, cut each rectangle into three strips (a pizza cutter works great here). Twist each strip several times and seal the ends together
-
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 12–14 minutes, until golden brown
-
Immediately transfer to a wire rack. Whisk together the glaze ingredients and brush over the warm twists

Family Memory:
This is such an easy dish to make with a toddler and usually all ingredients we have on a regular basis! It's one of our go-to weekend breakfast treats.
